The refreshed explorer is now live
. We’ve dubbed it ‘Explorer 1.5’, and it can be viewed and interacted with here: https://explorer.web3privacy.info. h/t to lucilapastore (lucilajuliana.tsx) · GitHub as well as countless others for working on getting this live.
A few dashboards that helped inspire the privacy explorer: L2BEAT, Ethproofs and Getting started with ETH.
The new explorer features:
- Pie charts for visual privacy scoring instead of a 0-100 nominal scale
- Card system for individual projects
- Tooltips when hovering over scoring breaks down chart into three categories (Technology, Openness, and Privacy)
- Migrated from Nuxt and vue
next.js and react.js - Replaced the table layout for all projects with a catalog layout
- Targeted mobile browsing
with a responsive design - New filtering and pagination engine which creates a snappier response. All projects won’t need to load at once when interacting with the explorer.
- Individual project pages contain more concise information regarding Openness, Technology, Privacy, Security and Audits.
See for yourself, explore the privacy ecosystem, and use our open collaborative dashboard for your benefit ![]()
What lies in the future for the explorer? Well, we’re nearing 750 total privacy projects across more than 6 ecosystems, as the explorer grows, we want to make it usable for a wider variety of people.
You can visit projects in the Web3Privacy github to see what planned objectives we have for upcoming updates to the explorer. A few exciting additions I’m looking forward to:
- Add RSS feeds for individual projects to add their own curated news or articles
- Add realtime TVL data for individual projects and separate chart for ALL Privacy projects
- W3PN explorer AI chatbot (Inspired by Aztec AI)
744 privacy projects and counting, and we’re just getting started
